Mr. McKean's Class

Draw a level of angry birds.  Include two different parabolas, their x-int/zeros/solutions and vertex.  The assignment has come from a teacher from Ontario, Mr. Orr (website). I have made a couple minor adjustments to the attached assignment.  The youtube video shows how to get the equation for your parabola:

Simplified steps:  

Pick two x-intcercepts (if you pick 0,0 it will make your math easier to compute)

- Pick a vertex

- Use vertex for h and k value in y = a(x-h)squared + k

- Use (0,0) in equation to solve for "a" value.
